The Lantern Series is about conversations and community at its core. While world class performances will be taking place, the community as a whole will be able to come and converse. This series will strive to introduce new music, ideas, and cultures, that aren’t typical for the community. We hope that this venture will grow into building more, deeper, and authentic moments with you involved.

The Barefoot Movement
June 2nd, 2018
Americana

Heartfelt, energetic, and down home. Heralded by CMT Edge as “one of the most promising bands on the bluegrass scene,” the music of the Nashville based group The Barefoot Movement is as down to earth as their intention for members of their audience: sit back, relax, take your shoes off, and stay a while. All the worries and frustrations of the world melt away as this charming, acoustic band takes listeners back to a simpler place and time. Whether you’re seeking emotional ballads or rip-roaring barn-burners, you can expect a collection of music that offers something for everyone.

Royal Wood
July 21st, 2018
Contemporary Folk

Life has a way of knocking on our door on the days we least expect it. For singer songwriter Royal Wood, life knocked pretty damn hard. For in the same year that he lost his father to illness, he also fell in love and got married.

As an artist, Royal channeled these polar opposite emotions into his new album “Ever After The Farewell”. Recorded in London, UK, with Jamie Scott (known for his work with renowned artists like Rag’n Bone Man, Michael Kiwanuka, Niall Horan and Ed Sheeran), Royal’s album is not only deeply inspired by both loss and love, but is an ode to the classic styles of both Tin Pan Alley and Laurel Canyon.
